Who we are

We are a Barcelona-based airline founded in 2011 by Carlos Muñoz and Lázaro Ros. We operated our first flight on April 5, 2012, and over a decade later, we will celebrate a milestone of carrying 60 million passengers across Europe thanks to a top-notch team and a philosophy based on offering a pleasant travel experience at competitive prices. Every year we increase the number of aircraft in our fleet, the number of routes served, and the number of seats available, leading us to become one of the fastest-growing independent airlines in Europe.

We have renewed our IOSA (International Operational Audit Safety Program) registration with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) until 2025. IATA is the leading association in international operational security audits and is considered a benchmark in the airline industry.

The IOSA program evaluates airlines' operational management and control systems, ensuring compliance with approximately 940 requirements and recommended practices relating to safety and operational quality. Created in 2001, the IOSA program covers flight control, loading operations, and passenger cabin operations, among other things. IOSA has become a global standard that is recognized outside of IATA.

44-plane fleet

All our Airbus fleet have an on-board entertainment service, with a wide range of movies, series, TV shows, newspapers, magazines, music and content for the little ones. In addition, they have LED lights that represent a qualitative improvement for our passengers as well as energy savings and maintenance costs.

Unlike other companies, we have ample and reclining seats, arranged in rows 5% wider than the average of European companies, which allows our passengers to enjoy the flight in a more comfortable and relaxed way.

Since we started flying, we have launched 50 initiatives to reduce the fuel consumption of our aircraft, achieving a reduction of more than 45% of our emissions per passenger kilometre flown.

While working on developing emission-free alternative-technologies, at present we’ve committed to offsetting 25% of our total CO2 emissions in 2025. Since 2022, we have started introducing Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) in our aircraft.

We collaborate with manufacturers and the industry so that these fuels can be further developed and generalized as soon as possible. Discover all our actions and how we contribute to cleaner travel here.
